TargetFox #4
by Jason Krumbine
The bullets shot through the air flawlessly, Fox's aim unerring, then dropped to ground less than an inch from her body.
TargetFox frowned. He was afraid of that.
The woman suddenly jumped forward, diving through hole.
TargetFox spun out of the way, pivoting on his right heel. He swung his left arm into her path, snagging the dark haired woman by the collar. He brutally yanked her around, smashing her into the nearest console. Circuitry and glass flew everywhere as the dark haired womans face made contact.
He grabbed a handful of her long black hair and yanked her head back, only to smash her even harder against the console. Repeatedly.
"Whoa, how come the bullets won't hurt her, but you're not having any trouble going caveman on her?" the DJ asked.
"The jumpsuit," TargetFox said, pulling her away from the console and slamming her face against the wall, "It has a damping field. Stops anything moving faster than twenty-five miles an hour cold."
Then the dark haired woman went limp.
