The Return of the Ramble or Has HEROES Failed? by Jason Kenney
In April of 1999 I was pretty damn ambitious. HEROES was created after minimal discussion through the MV1 list of there being some sort of magazine like Wizard that covered fanfiction. HEROES came from that and took off pretty well. And then it died down. Every now and then it resurfaces with some original content and what not, but it's only a shell of its former self.
Much like group fanfiction seems to be today.
But I digress.
