Four Years In The Can A Rambling by Jason Kenney When you do something like fanfiction for four years and HEROES for almost as long, you can't help but pick up on a few things concerning the fanfiction community: Things I've learned about fanfiction: 1) Fanfiction is a hobby 2) Fanfiction for many is an attempt to improve as a writer and for those that it isn't, it should be 3) Given #2, this leads many folks to take fanfiction a little too seriously 4) 70+ percent of all fanfic that is out there is crap 5) There aren't nearly enough women in the groups 6) I will never write a mainstream comic book 7) Nicole Kidman will never be impressed with my fanfic writing abilities posted by Jason Kenney Thursday, January 02, 2003 - - Post a Comment Comments:
