Weapon X #1
By Chris Jarvis
Juggernaut was greeted by the growling figure of Sabretooth wearing camouflage and his ‘victory necklace’ of the ears of his victims. The two mutants both capable of mass murder, destruction and chaos stood for a moment observing their new enemy. Cain Marko, the Juggernaut rolled one hand into a fist slowly and brought it back before lashing out full force at the snarling face of Victor Creed: Sabretooth. He tried to duck, dodge the blow but it still landed with devastating consequences. His head snapped backwards and his feet were lifted off the ground as he was propelled back. The blow would have killed any normal man but Creeds healing factor, his mutant power was already working in overtime to repair the broken bones. His jaw had already clicked back into its original position and he opened his eyes again.
By the time Sabretooth had hit floor Juggernaut had been subdued. As the 3 guards surrounding Juggernaut began to panic Colonel John Wraith stepped forward from the large metal doors into the bright lights of the containment bays and fired six tranquillizer darts into the next of the Juggernaut. John Wraith was not a small man by any stretch of the imagination but compared to the Juggernaut he was tiny. Wraith always seemed to have stubble on his face whether he had shaved or not along with the three huge scars that stretched from his left cheek right across to his nose. Six of those darts could stop a herd of elephants but the Colonel kept his gun aimed in case. The Juggernaut stumbled for a while before he finally collapsed in a heap.
